Under the slogan "SME for SME" (mid-sized dealers for mid-sized customers), Yale® Europe Materials Handling will be exhibiting together with its German dealers at LogiMAT 2017 in Stuttgart in hall 9, booth F32. As a committed partner to small and medium-sized enterprises, Yale, together with its dealers, places the focus of the trade fair on an extensive portfolio of materials handling vehicles and services tailored to the requirements of this target group.
The slogan "SME for SME" stands for the high competence that Yale has gained over more than 20 years of experience on the German market. Many of today's Yale dealers are medium-sized businesses and from the beginning have been Yale partners.
"Due to their many years of experience in the field of materials handling, our dealers have sound market knowledge. They are very familiar with the requirements of their mainly medium-sized customers,” said Timo Antony, new Area Business Director Central Europe at Yale. "Consulting from a common viewpoint and providing a tailor-made all-round care package are extremely important for these customers."
The offering includes a partnership-based truck deployment analysis, well-founded and competent advice in the configuration of the customized truck, support for financing options and regular driver training to maintenance and repair of vehicles. This, of course, also includes vehicle fleet management, a fast spare parts service and the short-term provision of rental trucks.
Product highlights at LogiMAT 2017
Yale covers the entire range of lift truck products – from internal combustion engine and electric powered counterbalanced forklifts to warehouse equipment and tugger trains. All products designed for the European market are manufactured in Europe. The design of the vehicles is intended to create a work environment that is as ergonomic and comfortable as possible for the driver. On the other hand, practical functions and high performance are ensured so that customers can increase their throughput and productivity. Success is based on a mature design process, an exact knowledge of the driver requirements and functions that increase the efficiency of the drivers and thus the efficiency of the logistics processes in the company. In developing new products, Yale also leverages solutions for specific industries or applications.
At LogiMAT, the company will present a historic Yale forklift truck from the middle of the twentieth century, which will stand for the robustness and reliability of Yale products as well as the new MS series of pedestrian stackers. This series was recently extended by the MS12-16IL and MS20. Just like the MS10-16 introduced in 2016, the new vehicles are characterized by high visibility through the mast frame and precise load handling. The model with an initial lift has a lifting capacity of up to 1.6 tonnes and, together with a 2-tonne variant, supplements the standard vehicles of this series.
Another highlight at the trade fair is the award-winning* Yale rider pallet truck of the MPT series which is optimally tailored to the driver's requirements and needs. With this series, Yale has combined the advantages of platform trucks and seated models. The vehicle seat can be adjusted at the touch of a button so that the driver can operate the vehicle either standing or leaning depending on the task, and with the comfort of sitting for long transfers. With its new vehicle concept, Yale will make a significant contribution to increasing productivity, for example, when loading or unloading trucks or trailers in combination with cross-docking or long-distance transport as well as in multi-shift operations.
Another highlight at the LogiMAT 2017 is a new Yale fleet management system. With this Yale shows how productivity increases, cost control and fleet optimization can be realized with telematics solutions in the age of an industrial 4.0.
At LogiMAT 2017 Yale also focuses on energy efficiency. In the future, Yale will offer Li-Ion batteries and chargers as an alternative battery solution for Yale trucks. At the booth, Yale will present its first electric forklift truck ERP16VT (or VF) with Li-Ion battery.
