Forklift and Transport veterans lift cancer awareness through challenge. "Around Australia Lifting Cancer Awareness"

John Flinn of Hystandard Handling Equipment (Yale dealer), together with Andrew Brown of Toll Intermodal, plan to motorbike around Australia in May this year, a distance of over 15,000km, in a bid to raise money for the Cancer Council and also raise cancer awareness.

John and Andrew will cover all the expenses of the trip and in addition, Hystandard will open the donations with $5000 to the Cancer Council of Australia.

This event is organised through the NSW Cancer Council office but donations are for Cancer Council Australia.John-Flinn-on-bike

"We would like to issue a challenge to all companies around Australia to get together and help us to raise money for this very worthy cause,” says Flinn.

He adds that many technicians, drivers and sales people in industry are at risk from skin cancer from too much exposure to the sun.

Their epic trip will start May 5th from the historical Fremantle Chamber of commerce building, the oldest chamber of commerce in Australia and should finish back there on June 5th.

Sponsors can have their logos on the bikes or riders for the trip and all companies are welcome to participate.
