Visibility
Yale-3WS-Visibility-640x424.png

Visibility is critical to lift truck operator safety and productivity. We designed the three-wheel stand-up forklift so your operators can get a good look at their load, not at the mast.

  • Narrow mast channels and a wide window between them maximize through-the-mast visibility.
  • Overhead guard combines flat plates and strategically placed bars for a clear view through the overhead guard when handling loads at heights.
  • Standard headlights project forward and down to help operators work in trailers and other dimly lit areas.
  • Optional pedestrian awareness lights show bystanders the truck is active and operational.
Ergonomics
Yale-3WS-Ergonomics-660x424.png

Warehouse labor costs have been reaching new highs in recent years. The three-wheel stand-up forklift is designed to get the most from labor expenditures by keeping operators sharp and on-task with smart design and technology-driven features.

  • Wide operator compartment opening and low step height allow for easy entry and exit and help reduce operator fatigue. Operator compartment is 17% larger than one major competitive model.
  • Ample floor space accommodates larger operators and multiple foot positions.
  • Standard fixed armrest is padded and optional highly adjustable armrest allows a broad range of operators to find a comfortable operating position, with 6 inches of vertical adjustability and 3 inches horizontally.
  • Standard and optional floors reduce shock transmitted to the operator:
    • Standard fixed floor – up to 7% reduction.
    • Optional fixed ultra cushion – up to 25% reduction.
    • Optional fully suspended floor – up to 65% reduction when traveling over dock plates. While suspended floors on certain competitive models require cumbersome, manual adjustment for weight, the Yale suspended floor is easy to use.
  • While leading competitive models have one or two pedals that require engagement by the operator’s foot, the Yale® Smart Operator Sensing System uses optical-based sensors to detect operator presence, offering freedom to comfortably adjust stance.
  • Strategic positioning of sensors allows operation of the truck while using the footrest, a standard feature that not all leading competitive models offer.
  • Highly durable operator padding in key places within the compartment offers additional postural relief.
    • Back and hip pads are included standard.
    • Knee and thigh pads are optional enhancements.
  • Industry-leading multifunction control handle provides simultaneous control of travel and hydraulic functions with a single hand position.
    • Optional heated handle enhances operator comfort for subzero materials handling environments.
  • Integrated drainage on floor reduces moisture in compartment for better operator traction and stability.
Performance
Yale-3WS-Performance-640x424.png

The three-wheel stand is designed to take on the demands of fast-paced warehousing environments. Best-in-class productivity with lowest energy consumption makes the Yale model 37.5% more efficient than the equivalent leading competitive forklift models.

  • Available high-performance hydraulics bring lift and lower speed to class-leading levels.
  • With standard hydraulics, forks raise at 63 feet per minute when laden and 84 feet per minute when unladen. Forks lower at 102 feet per minute when laden and 98 feet per minute when unladen.
  • A top speed of 8 mph pushes productivity without compromising on safety awareness.
  • Equipped with the standard lead acid battery, the Yale three-wheel stand uses 5% less energy than leading competitive models.
    • Optional Yale Power Key provides flexibility for warehouses to change among forklift battery technologies with ease and agility.
Technology
Yale-3WS-Technology-640x424.png

For today’s warehouses, technology can’t be for show. It should solve the real problems in front of operators and managers. The Yale three-wheel stand-up forklift is engineered with standard and optional technology that integrates effortlessly and makes safety smarter without slowing you down.

  • Dynamic stability system, included standard, automatically intervenes when stability is compromised to help operators reduce the risk of tip overs.
  • Other optional Yale Reliant™ active alerts and interventions are available.
  • Yale Vision forklift telemetry equips managers with data about lift truck utilization, operator performance, maintenance requirements and more.
    • Wireless monitoring is included standard.
    • Wireless access and wireless verification are optional enhancements.
  • While leading competitive models do not have a touchscreen display, the Yale three-wheel stand provides easy access to key information and programmable settings through a convenient touchscreen dash.
    • 2.8-inch touchscreen is included standard.
    • 7-inch touchscreen option available and enables fork height display, an option not available on leading competitive models.
  • Four fully independent programmable performance modes allow performance to be tailored to the level of operator experience or area of operation.
Low total cost of operation

Out-of-service forklifts can disrupt work, cause operator downtime and lead to inefficiently structured fleets —accumulating excess costs and putting you behind schedule. The three-wheel stand up forklift is engineered to be ready when you need it, with simple maintenance requirements and quality components to reduce your downtime, associated costs and unplanned service.

  • Extended service intervals reduce the frequency of planned maintenance over the life of the truck.
  • The Yale three-wheel stand keeps service costs low, requiring fewer scheduled maintenance items compared to leading competitive models within the first 4,000 hours of use.

Large, ergonomic cab
Spacious cab

Wide door opening allows for easy ingress and egress and accommodates larger operators and multiple foot positions. Choose between three floor options: fixed, ultra cushion or fully suspended for the ultimate reduction in vibration.

Operator footrest
Operator footrest

Offers operators postural relief and a choice of foot positions. Unlike competitor models that use a dead man pedal system, using the footrest does not cease truck operation.

Operation Sensing System

Sensor positioning reduces the possibility of detection errors and inadvertent truck deactivation. This makes truck operation more predictable and helps keep operators productive throughout the shift.

Touchscreen display
Touchscreen display

Choose from a standard 2.8” or optional 7” touchscreen dash for easy access to key information. Operators can program maximum lift height and travel speed using the display, quickly tailoring lift truck performance to the task at hand.

Mast design
Mast design

With narrow channels spaced farther apart, operators are equipped with high visibility for maximum productivity. The mast is also made of durable materials for long-lasting performance.

Overhead guard

Low-profile bars and a combination plate and bar design provide excellent operator visibility through the overhead guard for better interfacing with racking when lifting loads at height.

Lighting options

Standard headlights project forward and down to help operators work in trailers and other dimly lit areas. Optional pedestrian awareness lighting draws attention to the three-wheel stand for greater awareness as the forklift moves through the facility.

Standard stability management technology
Dynamic Stability System

Advanced lift truck stability technology comes standard. It applies tilt limitations, reduces travel speed and controls cornering speed with elevated loads to promote stability and reduce the risk of tip overs.

High-performance hydraulics

Optional high-performance hydraulics bring load lift and lower speeds to class-leading levels.

Multi-function joystick

Operators have complete control over necessary functions with a single hand position, allowing for a comfortable and productive operating position.

Storage and ports

Multiple storage areas help operators keep important items like scanners and clipboards secure and accessible. Optional USB and 12-volt auxiliary power ports enable the lift truck to be equipped with additional monitors or electronic devices.

Steering system

Short steering tiller preserves cabin space and reduces operator fatigue for prolonged comfort over long shifts.

Yale Vision telemetry

Complete fleet visibility and control

Yale Vision provides real-time fleet monitoring for more informed decisions. The solution offers easy-to-use dashboards and analytics to manage cost, optimise productivity and protect assets. Wireless monitoring, the level one offering of Yale Vision telemetry, is standard equipment on all Series N ICE trucks.
