Official Yale dealer in Nogent Le Phaye near CHARTRES marked their 25th anniversary with two days of celebrations on 22 and 23 May.
AMS founder, Jean -Claude Lochon, began the company in 1994 repairing forklifts in the garage of his family home, today AMS has been a Yale dealer since 2003 and has established itself amongst its customer base as one of the leaders in the sale, rental, and maintenance of materials handling equipment.
This success is the result of a growth strategy focused on customer needs. "Our goal is to meet the needs of each and every one of our customers and provide them with the service they need. This requires listening, understanding their operation and challenges, before providing tailored solutions. And in case of damage or maintenance, our customers can count on the responsiveness and quality of our service to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum,” said Xavier Lochon, Director of AMS.
To celebrate this milestone in the company’s history, AMS invited customers to discover the latest materials handling solutions from Yale. A series of solutions tailored to meet the needs of the food, chemical and hazardous materials, and retail industries were shared with customers at the two day event.
From pallet trucks to stackers, reach trucks to counterbalance forklifts, AMS technicians presented a variety of products to customers with practical demonstrations highlighting key features for improving productivity and operator comfort.
Yale robotic solutions, featuring industry-leading Balyo geo-guidance technology, were also showcased in a dedicated robotics zone.Guests learnt how Yale robotic trucks operate autonomously without the need for any wires, magnets or reflectors, reducing the cost of installation and virtually eliminating ongoing structural maintenance.
The innovation theme continued with a discussion around the latest developments in power options.
“The materials handling world is constantly evolving and so too are the needs of our customers. It is precisely for this reason that we wanted to share the range of different power solutions currently available on the market and their specific qualities with our guests at this event. Customers are becoming increasingly guided by the environmental impact of their choices, and it’s our role to make them aware of the options available and help them to make the correct choice for their application, added Xavier.”
The event was a great success for AMS and an important opportunity to demonstrate its experience and ability to meet the demands of selling, renting, maintaining and repairing Yale equipment in the region.
