Yale unveils redesigned three-wheel stand lift truck with latest technology and ergonomic features

Design and technology updates prioritize operator visibility, comfort and productivity in common loading and unloading applications

GREENVILLE, N.C (Jan. 21, 2026) – Yale Lift Truck Technologies announces the next generation of its three-wheel stand-up lift truck, completely redesigned with technology and ergonomic enhancements to support productivity in fast-paced dock-to-stock, pallet staging, and trailer loading and unloading applications. Key updates include a redesigned operator compartment and revised operator sensing system that prioritize operator freedom, a new, lower-effort steer system, lighting enhancements and a new mast design that enables up to 21% greater visibility compared to leading competitors.

“We’re not breaking any news to say that finding and retaining lift truck operators is a challenge, but the inescapable reality is that labor continues to be a major force shaping how warehouses operate,” said Brad Long, Global Activation Manager, Yale Lift Truck Technologies. “The three-wheel stand is a critical workhorse, and we’ve engineered it to help warehouses keep operators in the job and perform at their best, with best-in-class visibility and ergonomics to help limit aches and strain on their knees and back.”

The new model provides a foundation of ergonomic fundamentals, layered with smart technology enhancements. The large operator compartment provides a generous opening for easier entry and exit, and the steer tiller is redesigned to be shorter and avoid jutting into the compartment, helping operators of all sizes find a comfortable operating position. The operator compartment also includes ample storage space, with plenty of cubbies and compartments, giving operators more room to store job-critical items.

Three different floor configurations are available, including a fully suspended system that can reduce vibration by up to 65%. A new footrest provides additional space for operators to position their feet and works in concert with the revised operator sensing system. Repositioned lasers enable personnel to operate the lift truck while using the footrest, an exclusive capability compared to competitive models that require operators to place feet on pedals in the same position all shift long to operate the truck. An optional adjustable armrest enables operators to tailor the compartment for maximum comfort and long-lasting productivity.

The redesigned mast features narrower channels on each side, spaced farther apart to improve visibility. Optional high-performance hydraulics bring lift and lower speeds to class-leading levels while using 5% less energy than competitive models, making the truck 37.5% more efficient than the competition. The truck’s overhead guard has also been redesigned to a new bar and plate design, with lower-profile bars offering improved visibility when lifting loads at height, such as storing pallets in racking. For low-light areas, such as trailers and staging areas, mounted lights provide superior forward visibility as operators pick up pallets.

The standard touchscreen display makes key information easy to access and enables operators to program maximum lift height, supporting more consistent performance. Warehouses can also opt up to a larger 7-inch display, allowing operators to see even more data, including fork height.

The new three-wheel stand comes equipped with the Yale Dynamic Stability System as standard. The technology applies limitations to lift and travel speed, promoting stability with elevated loads and when cornering to reduce the likelihood of forward and sideways tip overs. Warehouses can also opt for the full award-winning Yale Reliant operator assist system, which can be configured to adjust truck performance in response to truck stability and the operating environment, such as slowing travel speed when obstacles are detected in the path of travel.
