Picture the Impact with 20/20 Vision – New Yale Forklift Camera

Are you dealing with unexplained product or facility damage? Tired of second-guessing what caused that costly collision? Held back by downtime caused by unsafe driving practices? There is a solution to help you take control of your warehouse operations by understanding the when, how, and the why behind warehouse incidents.

Introducing the Yale Vision Impact Camera – it’s time to see what really happened.

What Is the Yale Vision Impact Camera?

Developed in close collaboration with warehouse professionals, the Yale Vision Impact Camera reflects the real-world needs of those managing intralogistics operations every day. It is a high-definition, dual-channel recording system designed to capture critical moments before and after an impact. With a 140° panoramic field of view, it provides a human-like perspective of your warehouse environment, so warehouse managers can see what operators see at critical moments.

Designed Around Your Needs

Every warehouse has unique characteristics. That’s why the Yale Vision Impact Camera system was built with flexibility and ease of use at its core. Whether you're overseeing a compact, high-turnover warehouse or a large fleet with complex operations, the Yale Vision Impact Camera system helps you to investigate and validate what happened during a forklift incident, with clear time-stamped video footage. By capturing footage three minutes before and after an impact, the system provides context, not just evidence, so you can make informed decisions without delay.

When you can see more, you can understand more. Utilising forklift impact camera technology gives you an insight into operator behaviour and equipment usage, helping identify human factors that may contribute to incidents.

Recordings may also give helpful indications of equipment issues or damage that require further attention. When you can see what is happening, you can respond quickly and decisively, helping reduce operational downtime, meet deadlines, and minimise supply chain disruptions if an incident occurs.

Insight Drives Warehouse Improvements

Implementing the Yale Vision Impact Camera isn’t just about recording accidents, it’s about learning from them. With access to high quality video footage, warehouse managers are empowered with a new tool to identify patterns in operator behaviour and common causes of product of facility damage. This enables meaningful interventions to be made, based on facts not assumptions, and tailored to the specific dynamics of their operation.

The impact camera technology is designed to fit naturally and easily into your existing operations and processes. There are no added steps for operators and no steep learning curve for managers using the intuitive system. Warehouse operations simply get greater insight so they can take proactive steps and implement continuous improvements that help reduce forklift incidents, damage, and overall costs in future.

Forklift Impact Camera Technology

The Yale Vision Impact Camera offers a thoughtfully engineered set of features designed to provide clarity and context in warehouse environments. The 140-degree wide-angle lens closely mirrors the human field of view, while dual-channel recording captures both front and rear perspectives for a complete picture of an incident.

The system records in full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second, capturing motion and fast-moving content and delivering it as smooth, detailed video playback. The camera powers on and off in sync with the equipment, requiring no manual intervention, so there is no need for managers or operators to remember to activate the system. When it is needed, it will be on and ready to capture all important footage should an incident take place.

All footage is stored on the Viidure app and can be downloaded or saved. Recordings are retained for 30 days unless saved manually, giving managers ample time to review and respond without overwhelming their data systems
