What makes your local Yale dealer different?

It’s no secret that we value our global network of local, independent Yale® dealers. They are integral to our operation, delivering technologies, solutions, and customer satisfaction across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). But what does it mean to be a Yale dealer? And why are Yale dealers different?

At our recent Impact Live event, exclusively for dealers and customers, we caught up with some of our Yale dealer partners to find out.

Global reach, local touch

As one of our expert distribution partners said: “Being a Yale dealer means working with an experienced global brand, with a complete range, and working with knowledgeable Yale partners who are able to provide all the technical, marketing and financial needs to their dealers.”

This was echoed by another, saying: “Being a Yale dealer means working with a large international team with many people from different areas, who are also interested in our local needs - the needs of our customers on site. We all work together to find the best solution for our customers.”

A full lineup of materials handling equipment

Yale brings its dealers the power of a comprehensive portfolio, with a selection of lift trucks and warehouse equipment delivering specialised solutions. More than 400 models are available featuring a broad range of power options and attachments, which makes understanding the products key.

“Dealers and colleagues from various departments are supported and trained by Yale. Especially when new colleagues start – everybody gets comprehensive training,” said one dealer.

According to dealers, the extensive range of lift trucks and warehouse equipment is a vital part of helping them to meet the specific needs of their many different customers. “From manual pallet trucks, right up, we can always offer the perfect answer” said one.

Another European dealer mentioned that their favourite truck is the Yale ERP55 5.5 ton electric counterbalance lift truck. “Because of its incredible power, competitive price and its unique position in the market. To move so much weight with such small vehicle measurements seems impossible!”

Yale materials handling equipment features ergonomic design, which helps Yale dealers cater to those customers where operator comfort is the priority.

As one dealer from Sweden explained: “Ergonomics is really key in warehouses in Scandinavia. I think Yale has shown the market that it’s leading in in an ergonomics with rubber mats, rubber suspended floors, sit on, stand on stackers… my favourite trucks are the Yale MS16S Rider Stacker Trucks – a super competitive product.  A small compact unit that the operators can both sit, stand … perfect!”

Supporting dedicated dealers

Yale dealers are independent and entrepreneurial, allowing them to truly offer the best solution to suit the customer's warehouse or logistics operation. However, collaboration and feeling supported by Yale, is key to their success.

“The power of working in a partnership … means we can go to market and compete against a marketplace which is quite aggressive. But we know together we’ve got the right products at the right price, and we’ve got the right people then to deliver the products for us,” said one dealer.

As another EMEA Yale dealer summarised “It’s a great feeling to be able to provide solutions to every need of our customers with the power of such a strong brand with more than 100 years of experience.”
